Dr Rhiannon Hunt

Project Manager – Circular Economy 

Bio

Rhiannon is Project Manager for Circular Economy at Manchester Metropolitan University. Within this role, she is involved in a range of research projects, spanning material recycling, bioplastics, repair, and low carbon technologies. She also serves as a Co-opted Member of the University’s Environment Strategy Group. Rhiannon obtained her doctorate in 2019 with the Centre for Sustainable Design® at the University for the Creative Arts, exploring the design of consumer products for a circular economy in Industry 4.0. She also holds a BSc. Environmental Science from the University of Southampton and an MA Textile Design from the University of the Arts London. Rhiannon specialises in exploiting technology and design to develop innovative solutions for a circular economy.
