Tom Brine

Bio

With a personal focus on environmental sustainability, Tom is part of the Science and Engineering team on Manchester Metropolitan’s Eco-I project, where he works to support local businesses to increase the sustainability of their operations. Tom has a background in Chemistry and science industry, where he has gained experience in laboratory roles through supervision and eventually operational management, providing him with a broad skill set and an insight into industrial operations. As such, in addition to delivering Technical Assists through MMU’s Eco-I, Tom works supporting scientific research activities with the Banks Research Group.
