Prof. Carl Diver
PrintCity Director
Carl is a Professor of Innovative Manufacturing and the Director of PrintCity as well as the Faculty of Science and Engineering Theme Lead for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing. He sits on the Board of Directors of Gambica and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of ALL3DP. Carl spent close to 10 years working in manufacturing roles for a global automotive Tier 1 organisation before starting his own Engineering Consultancy in Ireland. In 2013 he embarked on his academic career, he works closely with Industry on funded research projects, supervises Ph.D. and Master’s students and is passionate about bringing Academia and Industry closer together.
