Jack Cockle

I’m an MSc Industrial Digitalisation Student at Manchester Metropolitan University, having graduated with a first class degree in BA (Hons) Sustainable Product Design from Falmouth University with particular interest in CAD and 3D Printing Technology.

I believe that 3D Printing has great potential in aiding the development of a more sustainable society because of the unique advantages offered by the various additive manufacturing technologies over more traditional techniques. My interest and passion for the industry is evident throughout my university work, my social media pages and my status as a CREATE Education ambassador.

Throughout my time at university, I have also been active within industry, having worked with 3D Kernow in Falmouth and attended and exhibited at conventions such as TCT and TechAbility with The CREATE Education Project. This exposure has allowed me to network more freely in order to begin nurturing a professional identity.

In the future I hope to continue working closely with a variety of CAD and 3d printing technologies to drive my aspirational career in Sustainable Product Design.
