Jamain Kome

My experiences at PrintCity so far have been amazing. I have learned and experienced so many new things in such a short period of time. There have been several activities and opportunities to improve my knowledge and skills, such as visiting Autodesk Technology Centre in Birmingham.

I have gained both theoretical and practical knowledge of additive manufacturing, which I believe will enhance my career prospects in digital manufacturing and working in Industry 4.0.

Some course highlights so far include exploring additive manufacturing in different contexts, principles of quality management in key industries, CAD skills, refining 3D modelling skills and using software such as Fusion 360.

After completing the course, my hope is to work in Industry 4.0 and contribute to research and development. I am confident that this programme will equip me for both.
