Hi!! I am Siva. I am an international student from Chennai, India. I have come back to learning after spending 12 years in the industry. Right after completing my BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, I joined Sundram Fasteners as a Graduate Engineer Trainee. After that, I worked with many other OEMs viz. ELGi, ABB, FLSmidth moving from Design engineer to Senior Design Engineer.
I have always wanted to do my Master’s in areas related to engineering design and digital manufacturing but was never able to make up my mind on the right one. When I stumbled upon this course from PrintCity MMU, I was drawn to it instantly. This course had connections with the industry, which helped them improvise the course every time and help students gain real work insights. Additive manufacturing and digital manufacturing are advancing at such a pace that I believe it’s imperative to stay tuned with the industry. We have many interesting units in the course, like Digital Scanning for reverse engineering, Digital Manufacturing with Siemens software, Rapid Prototyping, Additive Manufacturing, Generative Design, and Immersive Reality.
But that’s not all. At PrintCity, we are more than a classroom. It’s about teaching Fusion to school kids, ‘Donut Fridays’, Go-Karting, Bowling and more.
